“Comma Stool/Chair” provides a break moment  in our daily life.

 

Design Shaped as a modern sculpture in contrast materials, this public seating is visually attractive and when you go near it, the height and comfy curve design make you naturally feeling to lean on it.

 

Inspiration through studying the interaction of people with public space, we found a public sculpture can be functional, a functional object can have the soul of art.

Shaped as a modern sculpture in contrast materials, this public seating is visually attractive and when you go near it, the height and comfy curve design make you naturally feeling to lean on it.

 

Material

Foam mold / marble / wood Stone horns / weight stone - avoid chances of mobile/misplaced; maintaining the integrity of the space. The seat foam material / integrally molded - easily removable replacement, prolong life stand. Carefully selecting the binding property materials to minimize the maintenance among public furniture.

Extended thought

This design has the possibility to fit in different context. It can be easily transform to be a backrest chair, highchair, or using different materials such as wood, metal, or integrally molded plastic etc.
